Project Description

Current created an interactive room experience where the players biometrics influence the experience of this two-player game. Understanding key biometric measurements of health became an entertaining experience in the 10'x10' LCD room with a responsive LED floor. Players held a custom fabricated “BioBall” which captured pulse and connected the user to the visual experience as a controller.

The Microsoft Hololens was used to reveal 3D elements, particles, and players’ biometrics in holographic form. The augmented reality portion of this experience became a bridge between the player and the screen, creating a fully immersive 3D environment. The Hololens also acted as a communication tool, providing players with sensitive biometric health information on a private display.
