Project Description
The Whole Story augmented reality app is a crowd-sourced platform to place virtual statues of influential women in prominent locations around the world. The project launched with almost 60 statues in 12 countries, and was shortlisted in five categories at the 2018 Cannes Lions.

The Whole Story project enables users to experience and share the stories of brilliant women. The public is also invited to help write the story by uploading their own 2D or 3D female statues for prominent display around the world. After six weeks of rapid development, the project launched only weeks prior to augmented reality allowed for ground plane detection, allowing it to be the first AR ground plane consumer app in-market in 12 countries.
